Bon Iver Announce 2022 Spring & Summer U.S. Tour

Bon Iver have announced a 2022 United States tour that will take place in the spring and early summer. The 23-date jaunt will kick off in March and end in June.

The band is scheduled to perform 10 shows in March and April with Dijon, followed by 13 in June with opener Bonny Light Horseman. The latter act features longtime Vernon collaborator Anais Mitchell, who recently worked with Vernon and The National’s Aaron Dessner on their summer album How Long Do You Think It’s Gonna Last?

Later on in the year, Bon Iver will embark on a European trek with opener Carm. That leg of the tour will run in October and November.

The U.S. spring/summer tour will start in Mesa, Arizona and include stops in Austin, New Orleans, Atlanta, Miami, Pittsburgh, Nashville, and more. It will be Bon Iver's first time out on the road in three years - since their 2019 tour in support of the LP i, i.

While on the road, Bon Iver will release a 10th anniversary special edition of Bon Iver’s Grammy-winning album Bon Iver, Bon Iver. Recorded in London in October 2011, it will include five stripped down versions performed by Justin Vernon and bandmate Sean Carey. That reissue will be out March 25.

Over the weekend, Bon Iver celebrated the album re-release by performing all 10 of the tracks at LA’s YouTube Theater. The group also played the song “PDLIF,” which was released in the spring of 2020 to benefit COVID-19 relief efforts.

Tickets for the European leg of the 2022 tour can be purchased now via Bon Iver's website while tickets for the United States tour will be on pre-sale starting Wednesday, October 27. They will go on sale to the general public on October 29.
