Bruce Springsteen Announces Upcoming Greatest Hits Album

The Boss is ready to put out another career-spanning album. Bruce Springsteen has announced a greatest hits compilation, titled Best of Bruce Springsteen.

Due out April 19, the album features 31 tracks  – opening with two songs from the artist’s 1973 debut, Greetings From Asbury Park, N.J., and closing with two songs from his latest album of originals, 2020’s Letter to You.

The cover of Best of Bruce Springsteen features a photo of Springsteen taken by Eric Meola during the Born to Run sessions. Physical editions of the compilation come with new liner notes by Erik Flannigan and are available as an 18-track set across 2 LPs or 1 CD.

This isn't Springsteen's first compilation tape. He shared the record Greatest Hits back in 1995. He’s since released retrospective collections like The Essential Bruce Springsteen and Chapter and Verse.

Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band toured heavily in 2023, but they had to cut it short so that the singer could get treatment for symptoms of peptic ulcer disease. The band gets back on the road this month (March).
