Bruno Mars is working solo again, and he's just given us a taste of what to expect on his upcoming fourth studio album, The Romantic. Mars has dropped a new lead single titled "I Just Might," along with a music video for the funky track.
"I Just Might" takes place on a dance floor, and has Bruno fawning over a woman he sees. "Hey, Mr. DJ / Play a song for this pretty little lady (Oh, oh, oh) / 'Cause if she dance as good as she look right now (Oh, oh, oh) / I just might, I just might make her my baby," he croons on the song's chorus.

The colorful music video for the song was directed by Mars and Daniel Ramos. In the visual, Mars and a band of clones perform "I Just Might" on a retro, ’70s-inspired soundstage.
It's been ten years since Mars has released a solo album. His last was 2016's 24K Magic. It won the Grammy Awards for Best R&B Album and Album of the Year at the 2018 Grammys. Besides the iconic title track, that record hosted hits such as "That's What I Like", "Versace on the Floor", and "Finesse."
The Romantic is set to drop on February 27. (You can pre-order here.) Then, in April, Mars will kick off The Romantic Tour, which will keep him on the road playing stadiums across North America, Europe, and the United Kingdom through October.
Over the last few years, Mars has worked more collaboratively than independently. After putting energy into Silk Sonic - his project with Anderson .Paak - from 2017 to 2022, he returned to the spotlight as a guest artist on Lady Gaga's Mayhem ballad "Die With a Smile." Mars and Gaga took home the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance trophy at the 2025 Grammys for that duet. He’s now up for the same award, as well as Song and Record of the Year, at this year’s ceremony for his Rosé collaboration “Apt.”
