Practically all of New York City came out to see Charli XCX at Madison Square Garden on Monday (September 23) for her and Troye Sivan's epic Sweat Tour. During her headlining show to support Brat, the pop princess brought out a couple of special guests.
The biggest one was Lorde, who came out to perform “Girl, so confusing featuring Lorde.” It marked the song’s live debut with both artists singing together in person. After Charli completed the first verse and chorus on her own, Lorde popped up in the center of the B-stage to tackle the second verse. The two stars then strutted down the runway together before closing the song out on the main stage.

The Lorde collaboration will appear on Charli XCX’s forthcoming Brat and It’s Completely Different but Also Still Brat. The Brat remix album also features “360 featuring Robyn and Yung Lean,” “Von Dutch A. G. Cook remix featuring Addison Rae,” “Talk Talk featuring Troye Sivan,” and “Guess featuring Billie Eilish.”
Charli XCX and Troye Sivan, who are currently on their joint North American arena tour, also invited Addison Rae onstage to perform her single “Diet Pepsi” together, as well as her aforementioned “Von Dutch” remix. After Charli sang her track "Spring Breakers," the overhead lights panned to a white billboard where Rae appeared in a white bra top and skirt. When she reached the chorus of "Diet Pepsi," Charli and Troye joined her to sing some of the lyrics, per fan-captured footage.
The last notable guest Charli showcased was Kelley Heyer, who created the viral "Apple" TikTok dance. She appeared on the big screen to perform her signature dance moves in a brat-emblazoned skirt for the entire arena to see.
Charli XCX and Troye Sivan – who collaborated on "1999" and "2099" off the 2019 album Charli – still have a handful of arenas to perform at during their Sweat Tour. They will be traveling across the U.S. and Canada this fall, and have already completed shows in Detroit, Toronto, and Columbus. You can find remaining dates and tickets here.
