Mere hours after the upcoming hip-hop queen won her first Grammy for Best Rap Album, Doechii celebrated the victory by sharing a brand new song: “Nosebleeds.”
The fresh track was executive produced by Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith and Anthony “Moosa” Tiffith, the father-son duo from Doechii’s record label. The track was also recorded with the help of producer Jonas Jeberg. The two-minute track is a braggadocios anthem and reclamation of her status, with Doechii rapping about her rivals, why she earned her Grammy nominations, her placement on the Top Dawg Entertainment roster, and more.

It's unclear whether Doechii hit the studio immediately after winning her Grammy, or if the song was planned beforehand – waiting in the chamber in case she won. “Everybody wanted to know what Doechii would do if she didn’t win,” she begins. “I guess we’ll never-” Later on, the Floridian Swamp Princess proclaims, “I look good from the nosebleeds, b—h!”
Doechii took home the trophy for Best Rap Album for Alligator Bites Never Heal, her third mixtape, during Sunday's Grammy Awards. She is now the third woman ever to hold that honor. “This category was introduced in 1989,” Doechii said in her acceptance speech through tears. “Three women have won: Lauryn Hill, Cardi B, and Doechii.” In addition to her Best Rap Album win, Doechii was nominated for Best New Artist and Best Rap Performance for “Nissan Altima.”
Alligator Bites Never Heal earned critical acclaim in 2024, and the project was supported by a sold-out tour across the U.S., Europe, and the U.K., along with high-profile performances on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert series.
