Drake Joins Backstreet Boys in Performing 'I Want It That Way' During Toronto Show

It's the collaboration we didn't know we needed! On the evening of July 2, the Backstreet Boys performed in Toronto and brought out a surprise guest: Canadian rapper Drake.

The Grammy-winning artist came out to assist the beloved boy band with a performance of “I Want It That Way.” Drake stood in the middle of the five-person group, stating to the audience "this is one of the greatest songs in music history" before crooning along with the boys.

Drake's unexpected appearance at the show comes just after the release of his chart-topping album Honestly, Nevermind. Drake recently went #1 for the 11th time with the new LP. Unlike his last album Certified Lover Boy, which had months of teasing and buildup, he surprise released Honestly, Nevermind this summer. Drake is now one of five artists with more than 10 No. 1 albums – also included are The Beatles, Barbara Streisand, JAY-Z, and Bruce Springsteen.

As for the Backstreet Boys, they will continue the North American leg of their DNA World Tour until September, then travel overseas into March 2023. You can find tickets here.
