Live365's "Featured Spotlight Station" this week is Indie Star Radio! We spoke with Alan Wayne about the station's setup, what listeners can expect to hear, and the station's favorite songs. Check out the interview below!
What brought you to Live365?
A referral from Stream Licensing is what brought me to Live365.
What's your studio like?
I use a Blue Yeti Blackout Microphone, Audio Technica Headphones, Adobe Audition for editing interviews and content, and a Dell All In One Desktop. My studio is basically a converted garage with a fireplace and candles to get me in the zone!
What can listeners expect when they tune in to your station?
Listeners can expect to hear the best up and coming artists from many different genres around the world! Listeners can also expect to hear programs featuring music on the cutting edge presented by some of the best hosts anywhere!
What has been your favorite moment as a DJ/Station Manager so far?
My favorite moment has to be when I got the chance to interview Shotgun Tom Kelly at the KRTH Studios in L.A. He was so nice and even introduced me to all the other DJs!
What is the best concert you've ever attended, and why?
Muse at the Staples Center in 2015. Their set blew my mind! I counted about 15 guitar changes by Matt Bellamy. They proved you don't need a huge band to be powerful.
What artist (dead or alive) would you love to see live, but haven't had the chance to see?
