Live365's "Featured Spotlight Station" this week is Odyssey Radio! We spoke with Eddie Carson about their setup, what listeners can expect to hear, and the station's favorite songs. Check out the interview below!
What brought you to Live365?
I was seeking a platform that automated and licensed content.
What's your studio like?
My studio includes a Windows 10 laptop, podcaster mic, and Audacity software.
What can listeners expect when they tune in to your station?
Anything and everything! We broadcast several specialty shows that cover many different genres, plus in-house programming that focuses on independent bands and artists you don't hear on mainstream radio. Check out the Odyssey Radio programming schedule here.
What has been your favorite moment as a DJ/Station Manager so far?
The entire process of programming, announcing, and getting a 24-hour radio station out to the public.
What is the best concert you've ever attended, and why?
U2 at RFK Stadium. They put on a great show - they played to the audience and sounded amazing live.
What artist (dead or alive) would you love to see live, but haven't had the chance to see?
I regret not being able to see Elvis or The Beatles live.
