Iggy Pop Announces 7-Disc Box Set ‘The Bowie Years’

This May, Iggy Pop will release a seven-disc box set containing expanded remastered versions of his David Bowie-produced albums.

Dubbed The Bowie Years, the set will feature The Idiot and Lust for Life, the 1978 live LP TV Eye Live, demos and rarities from the era, and a 40-page booklet. Three previously unreleased live concerts will be included as well: Live at the Rainbow Theatre – Finsbury Park, London 07/03/1977, Live at The Agora – Cleveland 21/03/1977, and Live at Mantra Studios – Chicago 28/03/1977.

The Idiot and Lust for Life will also be paired with a live album in order to be released as two-disc reissues.

The Bowie Years, due out May 29, is available to preorder now. An alternate mix of "China Girl" is available to stream now.
