Janet Jackson announced that she will be celebrating her journey and the 30th anniversary of Rhythm Nation with her Las Vegas residency entitled Metamorphosis. The show begins this year in mid-May and ends in early August at Park Theater at Park MGM resort.
The description of the show reads "Metamorphosis peels back the layers of the immensely private life of Janet Jackson, sharing her transformation from a young girl with issues of self-esteem to global Icon." With Jackson at the center of the show, she will trace her “path to self-love, empowerment, motherhood and activism, amidst the challenges she faced along her personal journey."
Tickets for the 15-date run go on sale Saturday, March 2 at 10am PST via Ticketmaster. Starting on Wednesday, Feb. 27, members of Jackson’s fan club and Citi cardmembers will be able to access a presale at 10am PST and 12pm PST respectively. MGM resorts’ M life Rewards loyalty members, Live Nation, and Ticketmaster customers will also have access to a presale that begins on Friday, March 1 at 10am PST.
