Up-and-coming British rapper Little Simz is getting ready for a North American tour later this year.
Spanning from late September to mid-October, it's set to be a short 10-date trek – her first tour in the region since 2019. Stops include Chicago, Seattle, Los Angeles, Montreal, and New York.
The "Venom" rapper previously had a North American tour scheduled for the spring of 2022, supporting her record Sometimes I Might Be Introvert. However, she canceled those dates due to financial concerns.
“Due to unforeseen circumstances I’ve been left with no option but to reschedule my US tour,” Simz wrote in a statement posted onto her social media channels last year. “I take my live shows seriously and would only want to give you guys nothing but the best of me. Being an independent artist, I pay for everything encompassing my live performances out of my own pocket and touring the US for a month would leave me in a huge deficit.”
The London artist most recently shared the album No Thank You. In other news, the rapper received the 2022 Mercury Prize last year – beating out contenders such as Harry Styles, Wet Leg, and Sam Fender.
