A new remix of BTS's hit song "Butter" has been released. Who has joined the song for a feature? None other than the smooth rapper Megan Thee Stallion.
Megan busts some rhymes during the song's second and third verses, as well as the intro and post-chorus. The new release actually follows a legal intervention for Megan. On Tuesday (August 24), the rapper filed a legal claim saying her label, 1501 Complete Entertainment, was blocking the release of the new remix. She claimed her label was intentionally stalling her career with the move, similar to the situation around the release of her album Suga last year.
Fortunately for Megan, a Texas court ruled in her favor by the end of the day, permitting her to release the remix and prolonging the temporary restraining order she has against her label.
On a lighter note, the new "Butter" remix is Megan's newest release since she dropped her "Tuned In Freestyle" and "Outta Town Freestyle" videos this month. As for BTS, the Bangtan Boys shared a “Hotter Remix” of “Butter” a few days after its release in May. It's been one of the most chart-dominating songs of the summer, sticking on the Billboard Hot 100 for 9 weeks straight.
The South Korean group has since released another new single, “Permission to Dance.”
