If you're one of the many fans who's caught the Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special on Disney+, you'll be pleased to know Miley Cyrus has dropped a brand new song as her famous alter ego.
Today (March 27), the singer shared the track “Younger You,” which was previewed during the anniversary film. It arrives alongside a music video featuring clips from the special interspersed with scenes from Hannah Montana: The Movie.

“Younger me has loved celebrating 20 years of Hannah Montana with you,” Cyrus wrote on Instagram. “This song is yours as a thank you for the life we’ve grown through together. I love you always.”
The Hannah Montana anniversary show was filmed in front of a live studio audience, and featured live-performance footage. It also featured an in-depth interview with Call Her Daddy host Alex Cooper, as well as cameos from Chappell Roan, Selena Gomez, and Cyrus’ parents, Tish and Billy Ray Cyrus.
Hannah Montana premiered in 2006 on Disney Channel. It starred a then-unknown Cyrus as Miley Stewart, a brunette Los Angeles teenager with a pretty major secret: she was leading a double life as the blonde pop star Hannah Montana. The series, which concluded in 2011, spawned five soundtrack albums during its run - three of which topped the Billboard 200.
In other Miley Cyrus news: the singer unveiled her most recent solo record, Something Beautiful, in 2025. It came with a visual album that was released on Hulu.
