NAB Show Canceled Amid Coronavirus Concerns

NAB has announced that they're canceling the NAB Show in April due to the coronavirus outbreak.

NAB wrote, "In the interest of addressing the health and safety concerns of our stakeholders and in consultation with partners throughout the media and entertainment industry, we have decided not to move forward with NAB Show in April."

Although there will be no event in April, the organization is considering some potential alternatives, possibly later in the year.

The cancellation of NAB Show follows dozens of other postponements or cancellations of major events due to coronavirus concerns, including SXSW 2020, Coachella, Stagecoach, and Ultra Music Festival.

NAB Show is an annual trade show for media, entertainment, and technology, “Where Content Comes to Life,” which is produced by the National Association of Broadcasters. The 2020 NAB Show was originally planned for this April in Las Vegas.
