Ne-Yo's debut album In My Own Words is turning 15 this year, and to celebrate the milestone, Ne-Yo is releasing a deluxe digital edition this Friday, Feb. 26.
The deluxe version will feature six bonus tracks: “Girlfriend,” “Stay (Remix),” acoustic versions of “So Sick” and “Sexy Love,” and the “So Sick” and “When You’re Mad” instrumentals.
Alongside the reissue, Ne-Yo is releasing a documentary chronicling his life after the release of In My Own Words, which launched him to stardom. In addition to exploring his career, the documentary touches on his relationship with his wife and his experience performing at George Floyd’s funeral last summer.
Ahead of the release, Ne-Yo unveiled a live acoustic performance of “Sexy Love.” A similar performance of “So Sick” is to be released soon.
