Noname has dropped her first new single since the release of her 2023 LP, Sundial. The new hip-hop track is titled "Hundred Acres" and comes with a wacky new visual.
The song finds Noname spitting over a piano-pounding beat. The lyrics feature her social, political, and personal commentary. In the accompanying video, directed by Daren Rabinovitch, the Chicago rapper is pursued by a humanoid cat and eventually transforms into a parrot herself.

"Hundred Acres" features Devin Morrison and is produced by Brandon Cordoba and Greg Paul. According to a press release acquired by Pitchfork, it's the lead single from a forthcoming Noname project called Cartoon Radio. Details about the LP are sparse, and no release date has been announced yet.
After releasing Sundial in 2023, Noname embarked on a fall tour across North America. She also threw a block party in Chicago to promote the record that same year. In 2025, a Central Park Juneteenth show she was set to perform at was mysteriously cancelled.
