At midnight on Friday (May 14), Olivia Rodrigo dropped a new music video for her third single, "good 4 u." In the video for the angsty, early 2000s-esque bop, Rodrigo dances with a cheerleading squad, sings within a grocery store aisle, and finishes off the show with a fiery conclusion.
The video was directed by Canadian artist Petra Collins. "good 4 u" is the third single off Rodrigo's debut album, SOUR. Rodrigo's previous hits "deja vu" and "drivers license" will also be on the album. SOUR is set to drop May 21.
Rodrigo has had quite the year. After her breakthrough performances in Disney shows Bizaardvark and High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, she released her debut single "drivers license" in January 2021. It dominated the charts, reaching number one in various countries worldwide.
Rodrigo just performed her debut single at this year's BRIT Awards. Additionally, she is set to sing "good 4 u" during this weekend's episode of Saturday Night Live. The episode will be hosted by Keegan-Michael Key.
