The documentary about legendary New York City record store Other Music is set to hit streaming services on Aug. 25.
The film was set for a theater release, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Other Music will now be released on Amazon Prime, iTunes, Google Play, and other streaming services.
Directed and produced by Puloma Basu and Rob Hatch-Miller, the documentary tells of Other Music, an influential hub of indie music culture in the early 2000s, which closed in 2016. It features Tunde Adebimpe (TV on the Radio), William Basinski, Animal Collective, Matt Berninger (The National), Ezra Koenig (Vampire Weekend), Stephin Merritt (Magnetic Fields), and many more.
