As our community of broadcasters continues to grow and innovate, we’re committed to ensuring our platform’s foundation is stronger than ever. It’s your passion that fuels our mission, and we’re constantly working behind the scenes to build a service that you can rely on to share your voice with the world.
On that note, I’m excited to share that we are in the final stages of a massive infrastructure upgrade. This is a crucial step in our evolution, designed to support your station’s growth for years to come.
A Foundation for the Future
We are migrating the entire Live365 platform to a next-generation facility. This is more than just a routine update; it’s a forward-looking investment in the power and stability of your broadcast. This move will allow us to deliver significant improvements, including:
- Expanded capacity: Expanded power and network capabilities
- Higher performance: Significant boost in processing power and efficiency
- Greater resilience: Adoption of a cloud-native system architecture for enhanced reliability and scalability
- Improved stability: Increased observability across the platform, allowing us to resolve issues more proactively
Ultimately, this upgrade is about providing you with a more powerful and dependable foundation to grow your station.
What Broadcasters Need to Know
To complete this important migration, we are beginning a series of scheduled maintenance windows. We believe in being fully transparent, so here is what you can expect as we complete the final steps of this migration:
Initial Maintenance Windows:
- Monday, October 13 from 10pm to midnight ET
- Tuesday, October 14 from 10pm to midnight ET
Impact:
During these off-peak hours, you may experience minimal service disruptions. We respect that your broadcast is a 24/7 operation, which is why all work will be carefully scheduled during off-peak hours to minimize the impact on you and your listeners.
Stay Informed:
All remaining work will be completed before November 15, and we will keep you informed on all scheduled work via our platform status page. Scheduled maintenance windows can be viewed under the uptime statuses, and we encourage you to subscribe to receive the maintenance updates directly to your email.
We’re incredibly excited about these improvements and the powerful, stable platform they’ll provide for our entire community. Thank you for your understanding, support, and patience as we perform this essential work. We can’t wait for you to experience the benefits of a faster and more reliable Live365.
