TMZ and People broke the news yesterday (August 21) that Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have welcomed their second child in secret. Rihanna gave birth to her second child on Thursday, August 3. Sources say it's a boy, and his name starts with an “R,” matching his older brother, RZA Athelston Mayers, and parents, Robyn Rihanna Fenty and Rakim Athelaston Mayers.
Rihanna revealed her second pregnancy while performing at the Super Bowl halftime show earlier this year. It was her first public performance since 2018, and marked the most-watched Super Bowl performance of all time, according to Billboard.

Rihanna gave birth to her first child with A$AP Rocky last year in Los Angeles. RZA arrived on May 13, 2022, less than four months after Rihanna first shared the news of her pregnancy. A$AP Rocky revealed his son’s name and its inspiration in a social media post celebrating the baby’s first birthday: “WU TANG IZ 4 DA CHUREN 🤲’ HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY TO MY 1st BORN . RZA❤️.”
In other Rihanna news, the pop and R&B starlet has maintained she is working on a follow-up album to 2016's Anti. “Like, honestly, it’d be ridiculous if it’s not this year. But I just want to have fun. I just want to make music and make videos,” she told British Vogue in February.
