Do you follow Live365 on Facebook (Live365 Official and Live365 Broadcasting), Twitter (@Live365 and @Broadcaster365), and Instagram (@live365official)? Are you in the Facebook group for Live365 broadcasters? Then you probably know this month's featured team member, Sarah Osborne!
Combining her passion for music, writing, social media, and her marketing experience, Sarah is Live365's Community Manager. She also ensures that publishers with Media Creek, Inc.'s brands (Abovecast, EmpireStreaming, and Live365 Pro) receive earned advertising revenue. Sarah is a fan of Oxford commas, coffee, animal rescue, Celine Dion, and heavy metal. She graduated with a bachelor's degree from the Pennsylvania State University and lives in central Pennsylvania with her lumberjack husband, three dogs, one cat, and a tiny human.

What all do you do for the Media Creek's brands?
My main focus is Live365. I've always excelled with writing and am very passionate about music, so I jumped at the opportunity to create content for Live365's blog. Along with my colleague Michelle, I create daily news articles and weekly Top 10 lists for different bands and artists. Sometimes I reference popular charts for those lists and other times I feel so strongly about a certain band that I create my own opinionated list. I implemented the monthly broadcaster newsletter as well, and plug content specific to broadcasters into it.
One thing that I'm pretty proud of is our Live365 community -- each day I spotlight a different station on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram and try to drum up some interaction with our stations and help expand their audience. And, each Monday, I interview a different station. It's fun getting to know our broadcasters.
For Media Creek, Inc., I ensure that stations with Abovecast, EmpireStreaming, and Live365 Pro who have earned revenue through advertising get their payments on a scheduled basis. It's a lot of organization -- we need invoices in order to pay folks, and that's a lot of invoices to keep track of!
What's the best part about working for Media Creek?
Working for Media Creek has given me the opportunity to grow professionally and challenge myself to do new things. I have a 15-month-old so a huge perk for me is being able to work-from-home and hang out with them all day.
If you had to pick just ONE music genre to listen to for the rest of your life, what would that be?
Although I'm a huge fan of Celine Dion and the Backstreet Boys, I'm going to have to go with heavy metal. Please don't make me break that up into sub-genres! There are too many and I can't narrow it down any further.
What is your all-time favorite band and favorite song by them?
Between the Buried and Me. I've loved them ever since one of the founding members of From a Second Story Window (another favorite) introduced them to me and bought me one of the greatest albums of all times, "The Silent Circus." I'm really digging one of their newer songs, Condemned to the Gallows.
You have your own Live365 station, right? Tell us more about it.
Yes! It's just for fun and to familiarize myself with the Live365 platform so I can better understand what our broadcasters do on a daily basis. Fair warning, it's not for the faint of heart! It's called Blood Moon Ritual Radio and it's mostly heavy metal -- death metal, mathcore, and stuff your mom probably wouldn't approve of, hah! It's all on AutoDJ right now, but during Halloween I made some killer playlists full of songs with creepy titles.
Besides your own, what's your favorite Live365 station?
Don't make me pick! There are so many. Since I frequently interact with broadcasters on our social media platforms I listen to a ton of different stations. They're all great in their own way!
Some of the most memorable interactions (all good) I've had with broadcasters would be KBACK, 60's Chicks Radio, Boss Boss Radio, Alternative Rock 97.3, Cobys Country, and KoHoSo Radio 66. I know I'm missing a ton, I'm sorry!
