Slipknot has announced that they will be releasing their new album on Aug. 9, and they will be touring North America this summer with their 29-date Knotfest Roadshow.
The title and track list for their upcoming sixth LP has not been revealed yet. A digital copy of the band's next album will come with each pair of purchased tickets for the tour.
Starting July 26 in Mountain View, CA, the tour will hit a lot of the major cities before ending on Sept. 8 in Woodlands, TX. Special guests on the tour include Volbeat, Gojira, and Behemoth.
Tickets go on sale to the public on March 8 at 10am local time via LiveNation. Premium members of Slipknot’s fan club will be able to access presale tickets starting March 5 at 10am local time. There will also be a Citi cardmembers presale beginning on March 5 at 12pm local time.
