Emo band Sunny Day Real Estate are celebrating the 30th anniversary of their debut album, Diary, with a vinyl reissue, planned for April 26th.
The remastered and expanded edition contains all 11 songs from the original version of Diary, along with two bonus tracks and newly written liner notes. The 2xLP will be pressed on a new pearlescent vinyl, limited to 1,500 copies. Pre-orders are ongoing.
In addition to the Diary reissue, Sunny Day Real Estate have scheduled a 30th anniversary tour that's set to start later this month. It includes stops in Austin, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Boston, Dallas, Seattle, Chicago, Los Angeles, and more.
Sunny Day Real Estate also have a live, track-by-track re-recording of Diary dropping on May 3rd. That project will include “Novum Vetus,” their first new single in 10 years. You can pre-order that record here.
