Today, Taylor Swift made a surprise announcement that her new film folklore: the long pond studio sessions will hit Disney+ tonight.
The film will find Swift and collaborators Aaron Dessner and Jack Antonoff performing her latest album folklore in full for the first time. Additionally, Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon will make a guest appearance to perform his duet with the singer-songwriter, “exile.” Swift will also discuss the meaning and the stories behind all 17 tracks.
Swift remotely collaborated with Dessner, Antonoff, and Vernon on folklore during the COVID-19 pandemic. For the live performance, the musicians gathered at The National’s Long Pond Studio in Hudson, NY.
folklore: the long pond studio sessions will premiere on Disney+ on Nov. 25 at midnight PT.
