The Strokes recently announced that they will be performing a New Year’s Eve show at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Dec. 31.
Given that the band's headlining set at Governors Ball Music Festival this past June was canceled due to severe weather on Randall’s Island in New York, this show is serving as a make-up performance. Governors Ball 2019 three-day and Sunday ticket holders will have access to an earlier, exclusive pre-sale beginning today, Tuesday, Aug 6.
Strokes fan club members and American Express Card Members can also purchase tickets before the general public beginning today, Tuesday, Aug. 6.
Any remaining tickets will go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, Aug. 9 at 10am local time at LiveNation.com.
