Two Archival Prince Songs Now Available to Stream

A pair of songs from Prince’s legendary vault are out today. They are “7 (E Flat Version)” from 1992, and “All a Share Together Now” from 2006. Last month, the Prince Estate shared the tracks privately with attendees of the Paisley Park Celebration ahead of today’s release.

The funky “7” was the third single from Prince’s 1992 album with the New Power Generation, Love Symbol. The jazzy “All a Share Together Now” had never been previously released in an official capacity.

The single releases come as entire albums of Prince's are being released posthumously. In 2021, a secret Prince album called Welcome 2 America was unvaulted. In December of 2022, Third Man Records announced it would release Prince's 1986 album Camille – which was a record the late artist created under his feminine alter ego, "Camille," before shelving it. That LP still has yet to be dropped.

Last year, the Prince Estate’s assets were finally divided up in court between his heirs, their advisors, and the management company Primary Wave. Soon after, the estate won a trademark case against the drink company Bang Energy, which had tried to trademark the phrase “Purple Rain.”
