A never-before-seen film project by Paul McCartney will hit the big screen across the U.S. in select theaters on Jan. 21.
The film, "The Bruce McMouse Show," features the story Paul McCartney and his band Wings meeting the animated Bruce McMouse and his family, who lives under the stage. Bruce decides to become the band's producer. The film is interspersed with concert footage from Wings' 1972 European tour.
McCartney came up with the storyline of the film after watching the concert footage and blending it with a previous storyline idea he had about a family of mice. Production took several years, and by the time it was complete in 1977, the decision was made to shelve the film.
