SugarHill Gang performed their 1979 hit “Rapper’s Delight” on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Thursday night.
In addition to Wonder Mike and Master Gee, Melle Mel and Scorpio of the Furious Five joined the five-minute performance of the song at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, where Jimmy Kimmel Live has been filming in Brooklyn this past week.
2019 marks the 40th anniversary of the release of “Rapper’s Delight” and the group's formation.
