UK band Wet Leg have announced their sophomore album: Moisturizer. The LP is set for release on July 11.
To get fans hyped up, the group dropped the LP's cover art and tracklist, as well as a self-directed music video for lead single “Catch These Fists,” on Tuesday (April 1).

The new visual shows the group wearing all white. They dance, fight, and run through various countryside locations. Rhian Teasdale acts as the ringleader, holding a boombox high above her head for various shots. According to Pitchfork, “Catch These Fists” was shot in the band's native Isle of Wight. They drew inspiration from filmmakers like Ti West and Cameron Crowe while conceiving the visual, which also nods to their previous clip for “Wet Dream.”
Moisturizer follows Wet Leg’s 2022 self-titled debut, which took home a handful of Grammys in 2023 and was nominated for the 2022 Mercury Prize. It featured the hit single "Wet Dream" and led to a UK tour, an opening act gig for Harry Styles, and a 2023 Coachella performance.
Like with their previous record, Moisturizer is produced by Dan Carey. The band wrote the LP while living together in the remote seaside town of Southwold in Norfolk, England, where they would work by day, and watch horror movies by night.
“We were just kind of having fun and exploring,” Hester Chambers said in press materials. Rhian Teasdale added: “We focussed on: Is this going to be fun to play live? It was very natural that we would write the second record together.”
