Center Stage on Live365 this week is 30269 The Bubble, featuring platinum music, Atlanta area local news, and talk shows. We spoke with station manager Kevin Porter about their history with radio, their station's programming, and we got some music recommendations. Check out the interview below!
What made you get started in radio?
Many years in DJing private events led to my interest in radio, as it was a chance to showcase my talents and share with others great music, talk, and news!

What's your favorite part about running your own radio station?
It is like having a blank canvas to paint a picture or art from within!
Tell us about your station's programming. What can listeners expect when they tune in to your station?
60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s' hit music, with some rearranged versions of songs featured! We also feature local programming as we serve Peachtree City, Georgia and the surrounding areas. With fall here, we have new fall programming with live talk shows, local high school sports, professional golf shows on Mondays, and more to come...
Name one artist that you play on your station that is underrated in your opinion.
Greta Van Fleet and Wolfgang Van Halen
What's your favorite music memory/moment?
My favorite music memory is coming full circle to see Run-DMC recently at Turner Field after a Braves game! I first saw them live one other time back in 1985 at the old Omni in Atlanta!

Van Halen is my favorite band, and this song has been at the top for me ever since I saw it featured in the Blue Angels video! -

Aside from his work with Led Zeppelin, Robert's side projects with The Honeydrippers and solo work is some of his best work! "Big Log" puts me in a tropical scene, overlooking a Caribbean Bay at sunset, sipping on a scotch on the rocks, wondering what the night has in store... -
"Bad Love" - Eric Clapton
He is one of the top 5 guitarists of all time! This song showcases his guitar mastery while giving the listener a smoke-filled blues bar feel! -
"Still of the Night" - Whitesnake
Coverdale and the boys made a MASTERPIECE with this hit recording! This song is like a great book with a slow intro, good rising action building to a climactic point, followed by an even more moving climatic point, leading to a soothing denouement! -
"Don’t Stop 'Til You Get Enough" - Michael Jackson
Through the years as a DJ for private events, no other song fills a dance floor like this hit song! It shakes the leg of everyone, no matter the demographic for which you are playing!
