A Dionne Warwick and Chance the Rapper collaboration? Sounds unlikely, but the two artists have proven that "Nothing's Impossible" with their new song of the same name.
The track was released on November 26. The pair revealed it was in the works all the way back in January.
"For those of you asking about the song with @chancetherapper… well, it’s out NOW," Warwick announced on Twitter the day the song was released. "I gotta tell you, I am so excited," Warwick said in a video clip she tweeted. "Yes, I am."

In the uplifting new song, Chance handles each verse while Warwick sings the chorus. "Nothing's Impossible" was produced by BUCK 22 (Damon William Elliot) and while The Weeknd is credited with helping out on the song (Warwick approached him with the offer), his feature on the track never materialized. However, Warwick revealed in a recent public appearance she would be working with him on something else in the future.
Warwick and Chance connected online after Warwick poked fun at the hip-hop star on Twitter in December 2020. “Hi @chancetherapper. If you are very obviously a rapper why did you put it in your stage name? I cannot stop thinking about this," she tweeted, following up with, "I am now Dionne the Singer."

Two charities are being supported by the “Nothing’s Impossible” collaboration: SocialWorks, a Chicago-based nonprofit that Chance founded to empower the youth through the arts, education, and civic engagement, and Warwick's Hunger: Not Impossible, a text-based service connecting kids and their families in need with prepaid, nutritious, to-go meals from local restaurants.
“Not Impossible organisation is how I got involved with this and felt that if I could be of some service to them with my talent, as I always think, then why not? I’m so thrilled that Chance also felt the same way. So now I’m asking you all, please, do what you can to help those who are not able to help themselves,” Warwick said.
What's next on the docket for the legendary R&B songstress? Warwick has revealed her wish to collaborate with Taylor Swift, saying she is planning on approaching the pop star soon. Warwick spoke at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) premiere of her new documentary Don’t Make Me Over when she shared her dream.
After discussing her plans with The Weeknd, Warwick stated: “I’ll be speaking to them [Swift] about how they feel about going into the studio with me.”
As for other Chance the Rapper news, the artist recently joined Jimmie Allen, Kristen Chenoweth, and more for Disney's The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration that aired yesterday, November 28 on ABC.
