Singer-songwriter Craig David has been named on the Queen’s New Year Honours 2021 List.
With this news, David is made a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for services to British music.
David acknowledged his new title on social media, tweeting a picture of the envelope he received his letter in and saying, "Hits differently when you receive the letter though." He added, "Thank you for all the Love you’ve all been showing me for so many years!"
In addition to David, his manager Colin Lester has been made an Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (OBE) for services to the U.K. music industry and to charity.
