Live365's "Featured Spotlight Station" this week is DJ M Breeze Radio! We spoke with William Branker about the station's setup, what listeners can expect to hear, and some of some of the station's best hits. Check out the interview below!
What brought you to Live365?
I wanted to create a professional, licensed radio station.
What's your studio like?
Shure Microphone SM7B, Serato, laptop, CDJs or turntables, professional DJ mixer, and headphones which vary in brand from time to time. I broadcast via Nicecast as well as LadioCast when syndicated on multiple stations.
What can listeners expect when they tune in to your station?
Listeners can hear a variety of hits ranging from Hip-Hop and R&B as well as Reggae, Soca & Top 40! Listeners can always look forward to DJ M Breeze's Live Radio Show from Monday-Saturday at 11PM EST, including holiday mix editions.
What has been your favorite moment as a DJ/Station Manager so far?
Traveling and broadcasting live concerts and events in major cities.
What is the best concert you've ever attended, and why?
DMX and Ruff Ryders Records Concert in NYC at the Barclays Center. This was one of the few times taking this idea of broadcasting online was displayed to thousands of people and I was in control of streaming this event to listeners and fans worldwide. To know that my laptop was connected and live streaming equipment worth millions of dollars was incredible.
