Early Version of Beatles' "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" Released

An early version of "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" will be included in the Beatles' White Album reissue, set to drop next month.

The raw take of the song was released earlier this week, featuring George Harrison on guitar (who penned the song) and Paul McCartney on harmonium. Missing from this version is Eric Clapton, who was later brought in to play lead guitar for the version released on the White Album (1968).
