In honor of their 20th anniversary as a band, Explosions in the Sky are releasing a series of reissues and embarking on a world tour.
Remastered and repackaged versions of 2000’s How Strange, Innocence and 2005’s The Rescue will be released digitally and on vinyl for the first time via Temporary Residence Limited on Aug. 16.
In support of the reissues, the band will tour the U.S. and Europe. The U.S. leg begins in Mesa, AZ on Sept. 11 and concludes in Oklahoma City, OK on Oct. 24. On Feb. 1, 2020, the European leg will kick off in Lisbon and run until May 4.
Two tracks, “A Song for Our Fathers” and “Day Six,” are currently available to stream. Both reissues are available for preorder. Tickets and more information are available here.
