Live365's "Featured Spotlight Station" this week is Latino 99X Radio! We spoke with Radames Roubert about their setup, what listeners can expect to hear, and the station's favorite songs. Check out the interview below!
What brought you to Live365?
I always wanted to have my own radio station. I was in radio for 16 years at a local radio station.
What's your studio like?
My studio is equipped with the basic technology for online radio, including a computer with 2 monitors, 12-channel console, 1 microphone, and Sam Broadcaster Pro.
What can listeners expect when they tune in to your station?
Latino 99X Radio has a variety of Spanish-language music, with both old hits (classics from the 80s and 90s) and new hits all mixed in together!
What has been your favorite moment as a DJ/Station Manager so far?
My favorite part is being able to put together different music genres in one station and getting the acceptance from the listeners.
What is the best concert you've ever attended, and why?
The best concert was Daddy Yankee in 2019 in Puerto Rico. We traveled just for that concert and the technology he used was from another planet! The amazing visuals made it the best by far.
What artist (dead or alive) would you love to see live, but haven't had the chance to see?
