Inauguration Day 2021 is today (Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2021) and Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, Garth Brooks, and Bruce Springsteen are among the artists that are set to perform during the inaugural events.
The Inaugural Ceremonies will begin at 10:30am ET, where Lady Gaga will perform the national anthem, Jennifer Lopez and Garth Brooks will deliver special performances, and Amanda Gorman will provide a poetry reading. At noon ET, President-elect Joe Biden will then take his oath of office from Chief Justice John Roberts and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris will take hers from the first woman of color to sit on the Supreme Court, Justice Sonia Sotomayor.
Around 2pm ET, post-inaugural events will begin, which will include the virtual "Parade Across America," hosted by actor Tony Goldwyn and featuring Jon Stewart, New Radicals, DJ Cassidy, Earth, Wind & Fire, Nile Rodgers, Kathy Sledge, Andra Day, and more.
Inauguration Day 2021 will then wrap up with the Tom Hanks-hosted “Celebrating America” special at 8:30pm ET. Biden and Harris will give remarks and there will be appearances and performances from Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Chef José Andrés, Ant Clemons and Justin Timberlake, Jon Bon Jovi, Foo Fighters, John Legend, Eva Longoria, Demi Lovato, Lin Manuel-Miranda, Bruce Springsteen, Katy Perry, Kerry Washington, Tim McGraw and Tyler Hubbard, Black Pumas, DJ Cassidy, Ozuna, Luis Fonsi, and more.
