Live365's "Featured Spotlight Station" this week is Super Classic Radio! We spoke with Duane Cozzen about their setup, what listeners can expect to hear, and the station's favorite songs. Check out the interview below!
What brought you to Live365?
The quality of service and ease of programming a station is why we're here!
What's your studio like?
In our converted den studio, we use AutoDJ, Audacity for processing, JVC headphones, Blue microphones, and a HP desktop.
What can listeners expect when they tune in to your station?
They can expect a unique blend of '50s, '60s, '70s, and Carolina beach music, featuring several genres, pulling from various charts worldwide. The library consists of a lot of rare recordings that we have transcribed from vinyl.
What has been your favorite moment as a DJ/Station Manager so far?
Creating this unique format following a dinner with the late Wolfman Jack in the '80s. He was a unique radio personality with very innovative ideas. Working with him was the highlight of my broadcasting career.
What is the best concert you've ever attended, and why?
The Dave Clark Five. I love their hard-driving, good time-feel rock music.
What artist (dead or alive) would you love to see live, but haven't had the chance to see?
The Beatles
