Foo Fighters to Live Stream Pre-Super Bowl Concert

Foo Fighters have announced that they will be live streaming their pre-Super Bowl concert in Atlanta on Feb. 2, the night before Super Bowl LIII.

The band announced the Super Saturday Night live stream with a short Dave Grohl-directed video inspired by the prison football film The Longest Yard. NFL commentators Curt Menefee, Terry Bradshaw, and Michael Strahan also make an appearance in the video.

Foo Fighters are playing a sold-out show at Atlanta’s Atlantic Station on Super Saturday Night with the help of openers Run the Jewels. The live stream, which will take place on DirecTV’s Twitter as well as the Audience Network, will begin at 10:30 pm EST and Foo Fighters will take the stage at 11 p.m.

Saturday, Feb. 2 will be a big day for music in Atlanta as Rolling Stone will be hosting an event at the Goat Farm Arts Center that will feature performances by Ludacris, Young Thug, Gunna, and Questlove. The last day of the Super Bowl Music Fest will also be taking place on Feb. 2, which will feature performances by Cardi B and Bruno Mars. The three-day Super Bowl Music Fest also boasts performances by Ludacris, Migos, Aerosmith, and Post Malone.

As for the Super Bowl, Maroon 5 is headlining the halftime show with Travis Scott and Outkast’s Big Boi, while Gladys Knight will start the night out with the National Anthem.
