Gorillaz to Release Almanac to Celebrate 20th Anniversary

Gorillaz are set to release Gorillaz Almanac, a full color annual that will commemorate the band's visual history over the last 20 years.

Due out Oct. 16 in partnership with Z2 Comics, the 120-page book will feature classic and new illustrations from Jamie Hewlett, the co-creator of the band. Also included will be the first ever comic strip with 2D, Noodle, Murdoc Niccals, and Russel Hobbs, as well as puzzles, games, and special appearances from other Gorillaz collaborators. A CD of music from Season One of Song Machine will be packed with each book.

The book will be available in three different editions: Standard, Deluxe, and Super Deluxe. Both deluxe editions are limited. The Deluxe edition will be oversized and slipcased, and come with four art prints and sticker sheets signed by Murdoc, Russel, Noodle, and 2D. The Super Deluxe edition will be a special art piece in unique packaging signed by Hewlett.

Gorillaz Almanac is available for preorder here.
