To celebrate Helmet's 30 years together, the influential alt-metal band is heading out on a U.S. tour this fall. The band will perform a 30-song setlist in 30 U.S. cities to commemorate the landmark anniversary.
They will also play a similar trek in Europe, which was previously announced. In September, Helmet will embark on their European leg before bringing the tour stateside at the end of October.
The New York-based band formed in 1989 and later broke up in 1998. In 2004, they re-formed and have released four albums since. Frontman Paige Hamilton has been the only consistent member throughout the band’s career, who is currently joined by Kyle Stevenson, Dave Case, and Dan Beeman.
