King Krule Releases New Concert Film 'You’ll Never Guess What Happened Next'

Indie artist King Krule has released a new YouTube concert film, You’ll Never Guess What Happened Next. It was directed and shot by filmmaker Anna Pollack, and was filmed during Archy Marshall’s Shhh Tour.

The Shhh Tour was a series of stripped-back shows ahead of the announcement of King Krule's most recent album, Space Heavy. The seven-track film, shot at the Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett, New York, includes a new song called “Whaleshark.” The other songs are Space Heavy’s “Tortoise of Independency,” “Seaforth,” “Pink Shell,” “If Only It Was Warmth,” and Man Alive!’s “(Don't Let the Dragon) Draag On” and “Perfecto Miserable.”

The half-hour visual also includes footage of bandmates Ignacio Salvadores and George Bass (who play saxophone and drums respectively). Anna Pollack also joined the trio on their time off in New York to capture extra footage woven into the movie.

King Krule is currently still on tour. He'll be playing some North American dates in September before crossing over to Europe in October. You can find tickets and more information on his website.
