Last week, on Thursday night (October 19) Lady Gaga joined the Rolling Stones to give a newsworthy performance. The Rolling Stones played a surprise show at Racket NYC to mark the release of their brand new album, Hackney Diamonds. At the concert, they played “Shattered,” “Angry,” “Whole Wide World,” “Tumbling Dice,” “Bite My Head Off,” “Jumpin’ Jack Flash,” and their new song with Gaga, “Sweet Sounds of Heaven.”
Lady Gaga took the stage in a gorgeous sequined maroon-and-black pantsuit; almost reminiscent to the costume of Harley Quinn, who she plays in the upcoming Joker sequel. She belted out the collaborative song alongside the band’s core trio: Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, and Ronnie Wood.

Bassist Darryl Jones and drummer Steve Jordan accompanied the group at the Manhattan club. Questlove served as the DJ for the show. According to a press release, Jimmy Fallon, Christie Brinkley, Elvis Costello, Trevor Noah, Keegan-Michael Key, Daniel Craig, Chris Rock, Rachel Weisz, Andrew Watt, and more attended the event.
“New York, the Rolling Stones!” Gaga said before leaving, exchanging kisses with Jagger and Richards, the Associated Press and LA Times report. “Take a bow!”
Hackney Diamonds is the Rolling Stones’ first album of new material since 2005’s A Bigger Bang. Andrew Watt produced the new album, while Stevie Wonder is on the studio version of the track “Sweet Sounds of Heaven.” You can order your copy here.
