Diana Ross Returns with Lead Single Off First New Album in 15 Years ‘Thank You’

Diana Ross will release a new studio album, Thank You, this fall: marking her first new studio album in 15 years and her first LP of original material in 22 years.

Ross’s last studio album was 2006’s I Love You. Ross wrote her new ablum during quarantine, and recorded it in her home studio. It features collaborations with several writers and producers, including Jack Antonoff, Jimmy Napes, Amy Wadge, Neff-U, Troy Miller, Tayla Parx, and Spike Stent.

The first single off Ross’s new album is the title track. A new visualizer for the upbeat, gracious pop song has also been released. There are 13 tracks set for Ross’s new studio album. According to a press release, the album "offers a powerful, inclusive musical message of love and togetherness. With its songs of happiness, appreciation, and joy, it wholeheartedly acknowledges that we are in this all together.”

On her new album, Ross said in a statement, "This collection of songs is my gift to you with appreciation and love. I am eternally grateful that I had the opportunity to record this glorious music at this time. I dedicate this songbook of love to all of you, the listeners. As you hear my voice you hear my heart."

Thank You will be released September 10 via Decca. It is available to pre-order here.
