Live365 Brings Most-Requested Feature to Platform: MultiTrack

The holidays are coming early at Live365...

Today we are excited to release MultiTrack, our most-requested feature to date! You spoke and we heard, and our Engineering team has been working tirelessly to bring this feature to our valued Broadcaster Community!

MultiTrack provides the ability to play mixes, episodes, and pre-recorded shows directly from the Live365 Dashboard while ensuring your station remains compliant. This feature, meant to resolve the licensing compliance issues with files that contain multiple copyrighted contents, consists of adding timestamps to a large file to break it into smaller segments. Listeners will then see the metadata for each segment, and that information will be sent for royalty reporting.

Previously, broadcasters needed to use third-party software in order to program things like syndicated shows, DJ mixes, and spoken word content with music interjections on their stations. Now, this functionality is available within the Live365 Dashboard, via Media->Tracks.

Broadcasters will find the ability to manually place metadata markers as well as upload cue sheets to automatically place markers. Playback and an audio waveform give you the ability to listen back and visualize the markers. From there, your MultiTrack file is available to schedule as an event.

In coordination with this feature release, we are happy to also announce that we have partnered with Radio Express so that Live365 Broadcasters receive up to 50% off Radio Express syndicated programming!

Radio Express, a leading supplier of entertainment programming to radio stations, is exclusively offering our broadcasters a range of show options for massively discounted pricing. Since it’s the holidays, they’re currently offering festive one-time specials with runtimes ranging from 2 to 8 hours, such as “Christmas Day with Santa,” “The New Year's Mix,” “Stars Of 2021,” and “Totally 80s Christmas.” Following the holiday season, their offering will change to weekly shows. Just head to radioexpress.com/live365 to check out their shows, listen to demos, and purchase digital downloads.
