Leikeli47 famously covered her face for much of her career – the mystery helped with her rise to stardom. But now, the rapper has taken off her mask, publicly revealing her face for the first time in the video for her new song “450.”
In a press statement, Leikeli47 explained her monumental decision. “It feels right. It’s time. The mask served its purpose, and now we move forward.”
Regarding the song, she added, “‘450’ is my declaration of commitment to the people and this art form. I don’t just love what I do, I’m in love with what I do; and there’s no stopping me. I’m just heating up.”

The black-and-white music video was directed by Masood Ahmed. The flashy visual shows Leikeli47 in a variety of environments, and she doesn't take off her famous mask until around the one-minute mark. We see her rap both in and out of the mask for the remainder of the clip. Once the song ends, she releases the mask up into the air, where it slowly floats away.
Along with the single, Leikeli47 has announced she has a new LP on the horizon. It's called Lei Keli ft. 47 / For Promotional Use Only, and while no official release date has been shared yet, the artist did post on her Instagram that we can expect a drop sometime in December 2024. Lei Keli ft. 47 / For Promotional Use Only will be the MC's fourth studio album.
While Leikeli47 has shown her face, she has not yet revealed her real name to the public. Additionally, she has yet to perform in front of a live audience without a mask.
