The solo career of late Queen singer Freddie Mercury will be available as a comprehensive collection on Oct. 11 via Hollywood Records. The 5-disc box set, entitled Never Boring, will include a curated selection of Mercury's songs, videos, and spoken words.
The set, which was announced on what would have been Mercury's 73rd birthday, features three CDs containing 32 songs, and a Blu-ray and DVD with 13 videos and interviews. Queen's longtime sound team of Justin Shirley-Smith, Kirs Fredriksson, and Joshua J. Macrae curated the collection with the goal to create new mixes that are "true to Freddie's original versions."
A 120-page hardback book with many rare and unpublished photos as well as thoughts and quotes from Mercury will also be included. In addition, there's an introduction by Rami Malek, who portrayed the singer in last year's hit film Bohemian Rhapsody.
Aside from the box set, all of the albums will also be available individually on CD, vinyl, digital, and streaming services. As a preview, a new animated video for "Love Me Like There's No Tomorrow" is out now.
