Masked Canadian country singer Orville Peck has released a trailer filled with kaleidoscopic visuals and a slick performance to announce his sophomore album Bronco.
Also featured in the trailer is a snippet of a new song, which appears to be the title track of the album. “Bronco running wild, yeah, baby, I’m on fire / I’m just my daddy’s child, something on the wild,” Peck sings with his classic Johnny Cash-esque vocals in the pumped-up trailer.
Throughout the trailer, Peck performs in a bar and at a kid's birthday party. The trailer concludes with shots of Peck in leather jackets with "Bronco" spelled out on the back, with the date April 8 called out.
In addition to announcing the album, Peck revealed that a single from the album, "Chapter 1," will be released this Friday, February 11. The album, Peck's follow-up to 2019's Pony, will drop on April 8 via Columbia.
In related news, Peck has been in the public eye recently after his romantic song "Dead of Night" was featured in a crucial moment on an episode of HBO's Euphoria. The artist is currently scheduled to perform in Canada, the United States, Australia, and New Zealand this year, with stops set for Coachella and Splendour in the Grass.
