Sir Paul McCartney is back at it again! This time, his target audience is much different. The former Beatle has written a picture book for grandparents and their grandchildren. "Hey Grandude!" will hit bookstores in September 2019.
Although the title is incredibly similar to another famous work by McCartney, "Hey Jude," the grandfather of eight said it was inspired by his grandkids and not one of the greatest Beatles songs. "One day, one of [my grandchildren] said to me, 'Hey Grandude!' ... From then on, I was known as 'Grandude.' And I thought ... that was a nice idea for a book."
The story's main character is Grandude, who goes on magical adventures with his four grandchildren.
