Last night, the Mountain Goats were the musical guest on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. The band performed a song from their latest album entitled “Sicilian Crest” as well as the classic “This Year” from 2005’s The Sunset Tree.
During "This Year," Stephen Colbert joined the band to sing alongside frontman John Darnielle. When introing the performance, Colbert said, “I asked them to play this song for me because it’s one of my favorite songs of theirs.”
The Mountain Goats' seventeenth and latest studio album In League With Dragons is currently available to stream and purchase.
